Weston Creek

Bordered by the Stromlo Forest and Cooleman Ridge Nature Reserve, Weston Creek offers leafy bushland surroundings in all of its eight suburbs, as well as numerous picturesque recreational areas.

Weston Creek began with the establishment of Waramanga and Fisher in 1968, and was followed by Weston and Rivett in 1969, Duffy and Holder in 1970, and Chapman and Stirling in 1972.

You will never have to travel far for a great dining experience - between Cooleman Court and the local shops in each suburb, ther are countless places to eat out in Weston Creek.
One of Weston Creek's best assets is it's surrounding reserves and parklands. Isaacs Ridge is an example of this, which has great walking and cycling tracks to it's peak. It's a great spot for a picnic amongst the wildlife, and panoramic views of the surrounding areas.
There are numerous sports teams and associations in Weston Creek, and there are lots of sports facilities around the region to accomodate these. There is also an indoor sports centre.
Woden Town Centre, Tuggeranong and the City are all within easy reach via arterial roads including the Tuggeranong Parkway. Weston Creek is the home of the Australian Defence College and the National Equestrian Centre.
