Tuggeranong

Lining the Murrumbidgee Corridor, Tuggeranong is the southernmost town centre in Canberra. The region remained a rural retreat right up until the first residents moved into Kambah in 1974.

Highlighted by the valleys, ridges and hills of the adjoining Namadgi National Park, Tuggeranong features some of Canberra’s most spectacular views as residents look out to the nearby mountains.

The Tuggeranong Town Centre has evolved to become a major cosmopolitan centre with sidewalk cafes, restaurants and coffee shops lining the streets, movie theatres, an indoor pool, clubs and diverse range shopping options on offer.
